Finally, for the first time in this course I have found something that was the most interesting for me. I think in a library situation this is one of the best things we could have, it can contain so much information and give a really excellent new way of looking at new titles and gives a brief description of what the book is about, the only thing that I find is that alot of the subject titles I looked for, I was unable to find, I am not sure if this is because it mainly used for fiction titles.
This would be really handy on any libraries webpages with new book titles, or staff picks or popular reads, the picture display is awesome and it is also great that you can select how you want them to be displayed.
In My new online library Latamar Tasmania, this is been used as a new book tool, which are books that we have recieved on our incoming exchange.

Yes, I reall liked Library Thing as well. I though it was easy and fun, and also could be very useful in a library context.
ReplyDeleteI think we should encourage patrons to use it to record which books they have read. This would give my forced polite expression a rest when placing requests for people.
